Everybody wants to feel good. We want optimal health, large amounts of energy, supportive social groups, loving relationships, plenty of money and to generally feel happy with our life. But life is a little more complicated than that. It throws you curve balls sometimes and it can feel like you are just surviving rather than thriving. So if you feel that some area of your life is in need of reflection and change, perhaps its time to seek help.

If you have been struggling with a physical, mental or emotional problem, then you have arrived at the right place in your life. Everything in your life has brought you to this point. You may not understand it yet, but the journey of learning is all for your benefit. How can that be? We are all here to learn, and through suffering and adversity, the contrast of good and bad is revealed. It allows you to identify what you want and what you don’t want. It differentiates your happiness from sadness. Without contrast, life would be bland and our potential to develop and evolve would be limited.

Before we are born, our soul chose to come to earth to experience certain lessons. Once incarnated we have forgotten this agreement and find ourselves gathering information to answer questions like “why are we here?” Often we find ourselves experiencing an illness or some type of health crisis. For help with a vast array of ailments, I can assist by getting to the core reasons of why your health has been affected and will work with you to find natural solutions.

About Me

I'm Evette, a unique naturopath. Let me give you some background. I have a Bachelor of Health Science - Naturopathy. In 2007 I completed my studies at the Australian College of Natural Medicine (ACNM) in Melbourne, Victoria. I am registered with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS). My career in the health industry has spanned since 2001.

Currently, I am working and located in beautiful Torquay, Surf Coast region outside of Melbourne. I still remember my true roots though, of growing up in Darwin, Northern Territory. You don't get more Australian than that. It made me appreciate and respect the bush, nature and animals.

Why did I become a naturopath? I was struggling with my own health issues in my mid-twenties, with food allergies, infections and countless prescriptions of antibiotics. Pushed to seek alternative therapies, I found myself seeing a naturopath and homoeopath for treatment. As much as my symptoms were improving, they were not completely resolving. I threw myself into my own research of the body and alternative therapies and just kept going, eventually leading me to Melbourne and enrolling in the Naturopathy degree. I had a desire so strong that I could feel better and help others.

After graduating I started consulting, assuming I would be like every other naturopath mixing herbs and prescribing nutrients. But in consultation with my very first client, another dimension had opened up where I could see colourful lights swirling around the room. Immediately feeling freaked out by all of it, I chose to ignore these insights for many years and continued working as a traditional naturopath for as long as I possibly could, until I realised this was going to happen to me whether I liked it or not. If I had an ability to see and feel such things, perhaps I could help my clients by moving the incorrect energies from them. Slowly, I transitioned into accepting my destined path as a Spiritual Healer, a Naturopath with an edge.

Naturopaths are becoming the health practitioner of choice for those seeking alternative therapies. There is a long history of naturopaths and healers using herbs traditionally, and naturopathy is becoming quite a popular occupation. I have always had a passion and drive for the industry and for alternative health care medicines to be available to everyone. My innate love of everything natural comes from overcoming my own health issues through natural means.

I completed my Bachelor of Health Science - Naturopathy (4 years) in 2007, and am a registered naturopath. I studied a diverse range of subjects such as anatomy & physiology, human disease processes, pharmacology, food as medicine, clinical nutrition, herbal medicine and much more. Naturopaths are qualified herbalists and nutritionists and not only have the skills to treat illnesses and diseases but are knowledgeable in herb/nutrient/drug interactions.

Naturopathy is natural medicine for the whole being. Its a beautiful tradition that encompasses herbs, flowers, nutrients, food and homeopathy. Its a self-nurturing dive into natures earth resources that will enable your body to kick-start its own healing abilities. It teaches you to slow down, restrain from answering your mobile phone, and learning to appreciate true convalescence when you've got the flu. Listening to your bodies own needs should be primal rather than pushing to meet a work deadline.

As a naturopath, I care about peoples health and happiness. I also enjoy educating, not lecturing, my clients on how to live well and give them the tools to help them do that. I believe that there is not one right diet that suits everyone, but that we all have different needs and requirements unique to ourselves. Listening to your own bodies needs is an important part of healing, and I serve to support you through your individual wellness journey.

I am professional yet flexible in my approach and have sometimes seen improvements with the smallest changes. Sometimes less is more. I am confident in treating a vast array of conditions because my treatments are holistic and thought-provoking in terms of possible underlying causes. The destination is about improving your health, vitality, energy levels, quality of sleep and empowering you to continue to make healthy choices. Moving towards these small steps and changes will help reconnect you with your bodies own innate healing abilities.

Spiritual Healing

Energy healing alone is putting energy into the body, such examples of energy medicine are reiki, acupuncture and homeopathy. Spiritual healing is different, it is using Spirit to do the healing work. Spiritual healing involves sensing or seeing Spirits diagnose then treat the person by working on the energetic pattern of an individual to improve their well-being. Therefore, Spiritual healing is a combination of energy out and energy in.

How to know if this could help you? Ever had something going on or wrong with your health or in your life, regardless of what kind of mantra you hummed, good food you ate or herbs you ingested, but it persisted anyway? What if there was something deeper linked to your depression, constipation or repeated bad choice of partners. What if there was energy sitting in an area of your body creating all sorts of havoc, an entity was trying to ruin your life or past life issue was replaying like a bad memory. Sometimes we don't know until we get a healer to take a peak. Some clients say they felt an attachment, they kept having nightmares or their illness started at the same time as another event. You may receive an intuitive hit that there is something else outside this normal realm creating disharmony in your life.

In a session, you will be laying on a massage table for approximately 30 minutes whilst listening to relaxing music, during which time I tune in to see what is present within you. I may intuitively know or see information about the person's being. Treatment may involve, removing energies and entities, clearing blockages or resolving past life issues. Health improvements may be a result of this work. My team of Spirit Guides use their light to help you. This is called Soul-Based Healing.

You are probably wondering how can I possibly do this work and was there any formal training? Apart from the help and support from a reputable Healer that I wasn't going insane, there was very little formal training and no manual to instruct me. How can you teach someone to feel and see energies? I have come to believe this field chooses you rather than you choose it. After all, I was working as a Naturopath when I began to see unusual phenomena around clients. Since 2003, I have been personally challenged by feeling and seeing energies. In 2012 I decided to draw from these experiences and bring these tools into my practice to remove energies from others. I believe that this unusual occupation holds great responsibility, honesty and integrity to work only with the Light.

Can we work together?

Appointments for Spiritual Healing & Naturopathy are available in Torquay on the Surf Coast. Some of my clients I have not physically met because they either live interstate, in the city, at work during the day, or are busy with life. If this sounds like you, I would suggest a distant healing or distant naturopathy consultation. Like normal in-person appointments, a time is scheduled to discuss your case via the phone or internet. For absent healings only, a detailed report will be emailed to you.

Appointments are 60 minutes. Once you have booked your appointment, payment is made via Internet Banking or PayPal one week prior to your appointment. I require 48-hour notice if cancelling or changing your appointment, otherwise, your prepayment is not refunded. My fees are fixed for the services provided. Prices will vary for new clients, returning clients, naturopathy-only-sessions, special cases, children’s healings, animal healings, and series of healings. *You will be quoted in your email.

My policy is a boundary of trust and respect. It brings the right people to me who want to get better, listen and do the work that is required. The nature of my work is unusual but it is still a business. I take this work seriously. It’s not magic. Energies are real and unpleasant. The work for me starts at the point you make contact and continues well after your appointment. I have limits to my skill set and have the right at any time to cancel your further sessions. I choose to only work on a small group of people during any given time. This helps me to better assist those that are having a series of healings. And also keep an energetically-clean-balanced-practice. I wish to assist people with their health and well-being on a multi-dimensional level.

I DON’T work on Energy Practitioners or their children. This includes spiritual healers, energy healers, mediums, psychics, tarot readers, kinesiologists, homeopaths, acupuncturists, osteopaths (cranial-sacral), chiropractors, hypnotherapists, EFT, reiki masters, people regularly involved in meditation/spiritual groups or those having had lots of energy work done.

If deciding to come to me and then continue on with naturopathy and/or a course of healings (8 sessions), I do request that other energy (only) related treatments you may be currently having (see above-mentioned modalities), be stopped during this time. Please notify me of this when making an appointment. All modalities have an important place and are valuable in treating the person holistically. Although, having lots of energy work by multiple practitioners at once is not viable nor safe. I wish you all the best in whatever modality you choose. If you feel at this stage we can work together please get in touch by using the message form via the contact page. I will get back to you on my next working day, during normal business hours. I look forward to helping you with change.

Spiritual healing and Naturopathy are the only modalities that I do. They are NOT a solution to every problem. My expertise is in energy and natural medicine. My duty of care is to not go outside my scope of practice, qualification and experience. I make no claims to cure or heal and have limitations to what I can treat. Therefore, I know when to ethically refer on. However, your responsibility is for your wellbeing. Self-responsibility. If my treatments aren’t helping you, stop them, and then try alternatives elsewhere. I am not a medical practitioner, doctor, counsellor, psychologist or psychiatrist and am unable to give you 24-hour support. If that is what you need, contact your General Practitioner for a mental health plan. If experiencing thoughts of suicide and need immediate assistance, please call Emergency Services (000), Beyond Blue (1300 224 636) or Life Line (13 11 14).

I went to see Evette about 2 years ago regarding a health issue for my daughter and for myself. My daughter’s rash disappeared after treatment within one day, and I received the healing I needed after our session together. I found her to be a very gentle and nurturing soul that truly cares about our health and well being. Read More…

I hope in sharing my son’s story it will give hope to others that there is a safe and natural alternative to help their children or they themselves if they are experiencing any issues. My son’s problem was that he couldn’t get to sleep when he went to bed. He would go to bed at his regular time of 8.30pm and could still be awake at 10.00, 10.30 or some nights 11pm. Read More…

My first healing with Evette was a couple of months after having found the courage to leave a ten year violent and abusive relationship. I had escaped the family home with my two young children, we had nothing but a small suitcase. Although physically free from the relationship, I was in shock, emotionally traumatised, I felt withdrawn and entirely consumed by the life we had left behind. I still felt strangely “controlled.”  Read More…

I came across Evette on the recommendation of a friend. Her child was undergoing healing treatments. My 7 year old daughter has been having trouble settling at bed time for a number of years. My Husband and I had been trying quite a number of techniques to help her calmly fall off to sleep. We were open to any suggestions to help us. So we decided to consult Evette. Read More...

My Book

Evette Brown is a practicing naturopath who grew up in the Top End region of Australia. In her memoir, Scary Little Secrets, she reveals personal experiences from her unique and often terrifying past. As an infant, Evette saw ghosts and auras, abilities that continue to flourish today. Her childhood was marked by an unusual home life. Later, when she was an adult, her own health issues led her to alternative medicine, which ignited her passion to become a naturopath.

Her gifts have not always brought her joy, however. In recent years, she has encountered premonitions, spirit attachments, and psychic attacks that have taught Evette about a world most of us cannot see and will never be able to experience. She often questions why psychic phenomena surround her, and yet these events taught her ways to help others.

In Scary Little Secrets, she reveals what she has learned, hoping to offer some insight into the darker side of spirituality. Although much of her experience has been frightening, she realises this path was necessary to fullfil her life's true purpose and ultimate destiny.
